MASERU - Premier League Management Committee (PLMC), under the auspices of the Lesotho Football Association (LeFA), on Monday launched the Independence Cup Top 4 at the Bambatha Tšita Sports Arena - the tournament will be held from 14 to 15 December.

Sponsors of the country’s biggest football competition comprise Standard Lesotho Bank, Metropolitan Lesotho, Econet Telecom Lesotho, Maluti Mountain Cement and Builders City.

All the partners, according Standard Lesotho Bank’s marketing manager Manyathela Kheleli, have injected a total of M1 million into the tournament.

"Standard Lesotho Bank is the main sponsor and it has partnered with these companies to finance the tournament," Kheleli said.

Winners will walk away M200 000 richer, the runners-up will pocket M100 000 while third placed will get M70 000 and M40 000 for number four.
