Vodacom supports local marathon

In a partnership aimed at promoting wellness, social inclusion and practical community impact along the race route, Vodacom Lesotho has announced its sponsorship of the Mountain Runners Athletics Club Marathon, scheduled for 5 September, through the Vodacom Lesotho Foundation and VCL Financial Services (M-Pesa).

The partnership forms part of Vodacom Lesotho’s 30th anniversary commemorations and reflects the company’s commitment to using partnerships and social investment to support healthier, more inclusive communities.

Now in its fifth year, the marathon is expected to bring together competitive athletes, social runners, families, small businesses and surrounding communities in a celebration of endurance, discipline, wellness and Basotho resilience.
