Likuena during training session
The training programme which is facilitated by personnel from the Ministry of Health kicked off on Thursday.
According to LeFA media officer Mikia Kalati the national squad commenced its preparations for the upcoming international calendar with that awareness training.
Kalati said this development serves to show a concerted effort by LeFA, NACOSEC and the Ministry of Health towards achieving LeFA’s mandate of developing and promoting football in Lesotho.
The 35-man national team is expected to commence its training sessions as soon as it completes the COVID-19 awareness training programme.
Likuena are preparing to face The Squirrels of Benin in the back to back Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers in November.
